Finance Indaba Schedules
CHANGE OF DATE
Please note the Garden Route Indaba is now being held @ 18h00 on Tuesday 15th Feb 2011 at St Blaize Lodge, Mossel Bay
New Time for Mossel Bay meeting!
Please note that the Mossel Bay Finance Indaba now starts at 18h00!
Mossel Bay Indaba Financial Indaba.
The Indaba at Mossel Bay is scheduled to start 1 hour before the Tyling time of St Blaize Lodge (on the same date). The Lodge has scheduled a 3rd Degree for that meeting and has 2 brethren coming as visitors from Austria, especially to see the ceremony. The brethren of St Blaize Lodge will not therefore be in casual clothing, the Indaba will probably conflict with the Lodge meeting if it lasts for longer than 30 minutes. Perhaps the meeting could be held in the afternoon so as to leave plenty of time to set up the refectory for the festive board after the Lodge meeting. The brethren attending the meeting (and those convening it) would of course be welcome to stay for the meeting of St Blaize Lodge, but if they appear in casual clothing for the Indaba they will need to bring suitable clothing for the Lodge and change accordingly.
This of course assumes that the Financial Indaba can start at an earlier time then the planned 1830.
MOSSEL BAY INDABA
Hi Gordon
Thank you for comments. No mention was made about this when the selection of Mossel Bay for the Indaba was discussed with Ernest Malberbe. Indaba cannot be held same day as it needs to be an informal meeting and knowing the many comments from brethern, will last at least 90 minutes and each must feel they have the opportunity to express their views or be part of the debate.
We will need to re-think and come back.
best regards
