Editors note from the Lastest 2011 DGL Newsletter:

"An editor's job is no sinecure and getting out a newsletter is no picnic. If we print jokes, folk's say we are silly and if we don't, they say we are too serious. If we publish original metter, they say we lack variety. If we publish things from other publications, then we are too lazy to write.  If we don't print contributions, we don't show appreciation, if we do print them; the newsletter is filled with junk and too long.

Like it or not, some fellow will say I swiped this from another place. He's so absolutely right, I did!

Seriously though, a newsletter is only as successful as the brethren's enthusiasm to contribute and to appreciate its content, chaff and grain together.  We all have something to share in this medium of happy communication. So,,,,,Come'n Guys, let's get your Lodge Banner under the section of "Lodge Drumbeat". Hopefully we will get all Lodges represented at the very least once throughout the coming year.  "  Contd...
