Community Carnival

ASSISTANCE AT COMMUNITY CHEST CARNIVAL- FEBRUARY - MARCH 2012

Freemasonry is to once again to have an Inter-Constitutional Stall at the Community Chest Carnival to be held at Maynardville from Wednesday 29^th February to Saturday 3^rd March 2012.

Participation at the Carnival is an ideal opportunity to promote Freemasonry and the distinguishing characteristic of being charitable.  All the proceeds from the Freemasonry stall, as all the other stalls, will go directly to the Community Chest which supports many worthy NGO’s throughout the Western Cape.

Lodges and their Brethren are asked to participate in providing assistance in preparing and serving hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken burgers, hot chips and soft drinks.

The times that assistance is required are:          

            Wednesday 29^th February  :          17h00 to 23h30

            Thursday 1^st March               :          17h00 to 23h30

            Friday 2nd March                   :          16h00 to 24h00

            Saturday 3^rd March                :          11h00 to 23h30

On Wednesday and Thursday we require 8 persons per night, on Friday 15 & Saturday afternoon 20 and Saturday evening 25.   All are most welcome to assist i.e. family, spouses, teenage children etc.  Lodges may wish to volunteer for a particular evening and work as a team.

Please use the attached form to indicate your assistance and we ask that this be actioned ASAP, but not later than 1^st February 2012.

Working as a team with the Freemasons at the Carnival is not only fun but a GREAT FORUM TO PROMOTE FREEMASONRY TO THE PUBLIC OF THE WESTERN CAPE
