LOI - Regular Meetings

Cape of Good Hope Lodge of Instruction No. 2537 EC
Brethren,
As some of you may be aware, all Lodge meetings many years ago were held in Taverns, Drinking Halls or Pubs, with food and wine abounding.  Some years later, the ‘dual ceremonies’ were split, the Lodge meeting held in one room whereafter the Brethren retired to another facility for the continuation of the  Masonic evening – the After Board or Festive Board.
Each Festive Board carries with it a sense of decorum and the ‘right way’ in which the Festive Board should be conducted, for the pleasure and enjoyment of all those present.
The Festive Boards are usually light hearted and fun, hopefully not only enjoyed by one and all but are also an evening enabling visiting Worshipful Masters and Wardens to take home some value which may be shared with their respective Lodges.
Further communication on the LOI festive board arrangements will in due course be sent out but in the meanwhile I ask that you diarise the LOI dates, already alerting the various Brethren in your Lodge as to the date and the events.
Warm fraternal greetings
Kenneth
